For libraries imported into SCIEX OS Software and used with LibraryView 1.x Software, the license file needs to be saved to the directory C:\Program Files\AB SCIEX\LibraryView\LibraryViewFramework\Server in order to unlock the library and activate it.
Many different types of compound and library databases can be imported into LibraryView™ software version 1.4. The following options for source files are acceptable for importing library compounds into LibraryView software: LibraryView Package (*.lbp), DiscoveryQuant™ Compound Database (*.mdb), Analyst® Compound Database (*.mdb), Cliquid® Package (.clq), Excel file (*.xls), Overwrite Database with LibraryView Snapshot (*.lbp), and Third Party Library Package (*.tplp)
This article provides some guidance on best practices for backing up your library compounds stored in LibraryView™ software. Its recommended that a snapshot is created of the library every time the library is updated or edited.
To migrate compounds in an Analyst® software library to Sciex OS software, navigate to the Library module in Sciex OS software, and select Analyst Compound Library in the import options. The imported library must be named. Instructions for naming the library are included here.
Installation of the Accurate Mass Metabolite Spectral Library 1.0 requires a valid license file in order to install the compound database. The library installer creates a folder for the Accurate Mass Metabolite Spectral Library in the Start > All Programs > AB SCIEX > Accurate Mass Metabolite Spectral Library folder. The library and user documentation are copied into this location.
Installing any program with SQL-based software components (e.g., SCIEX OS and LibraryView™ software) requires that a certain rules are observed. These rules are set by Microsoft, and are not covered in the release notes for the SCIEX software installation that includes the additional of SQL components.
Using the blue funnel icon in MetabolitePilot™ software in the top right of the Result Pane will help narrow the search results provided when evaluating information-dependent acquisition (IDA) data for possible compounds that correspond to potential metabolite.
To download the SCIEX All-in-One HR-MS/MS library 2.0 and NIST 2017 MS/MS library (PN 5061635), go to the downloads page on the SCIEX website, and select the All-in-One library and the NIST library and download them both. Activate and install the licenses for each library.
If the LibraryView™ software library cannot be viewed through the software after installing it, the location of the library license needs to be checked. It should be installed to C:\Program Files\AB SCIEX\LibraryView\bin.
