No Help Topics Appear in the SCIEX OS Software Help System

Issue Description

Selecting the question mark in the upper right hand corner of SCIEX OS software launches the SCIEX OS Help System screen. Sometimes no information appears for a selected topic (see image below).

To ensure that information for a selected topic appears properly in the SCIEX OS Help System, close the Help System screen and then navigate to the folder located at C:\Program Files\SCIEX\SCIEX OS\Documentation. Find the file SCIEX OS Help.chm, right click on the file and then select and Choose Properties. Click Unblock in the Security section under the General tab. Then select Apply and OK. The topic information should now appear in the SCIEX OS Help System.

The image below shows that the information for a specific topic is now showing in the SCIEX OS Help System screen after unblocking the SCIEX OS Help.chm file.
