MultiQuant™ Software's sMRM Feature May Require an Extension License｜質量分析計・LC-MS/MSシステムのSCIEX

Issue Description

When using MultiQuant™ software, sMRM data sets are not able to be processed.
 

Resolution

There are several tiers of MultiQuant software licenses, including:

• Basic
• Basic + sMRM
• Basic + CFR (Audit trail and security features + sMRM; also known as a Full license)

To extend the capacity of the Basic license, extension licenses can be added, including:

• Extension to CFR (audit trail and security features)
• Extension to sMRM

If the MultiQuant software license installed is only a basic license, then the software cannot be used to process sMRM data without an sMRM extension license.

To install the sMRM extension license, follow these instructions. Prior to launching the software for the first time, the basic license should be saved to the desktop, and the extension license placed in the program files license folder (C:/Program Files/AB SCIEX/Licenses/MultiQuant). From the software activation screen, browse to the base license on the desktop. Select install. 

To check if the sMRM feature is activated, launch MultiQuant software, and in the Help menu select the About option to verify.
