How to find Computer ID for Windows XP

The Computer ID contains 12 characters for each ID. Characters are hexadecimal and not case-sensitive. To find the computer ID, also called MAC address or physical address, follow the steps outlined below:

Select Start (screen, lower left side of screen) then Run.

Type in “cmd” to open the commands dialog box.

You will see a similar screen as below, type, “ipconfig/all”

Scroll down and record all the “Physical Addresses” that you see
