How To Create an Unsecured PDF Report in Sciex OS Software｜質量分析計・LC-MS/MSシステムのSCIEX

Answer

In order to create reports in SCIEX OS software in the portable document format (PDF) that are unsecured, the PDF setting in the SCIEX OS config file will need to be updated. Please follow below instructions to edit the config file. 

1. Log in to your Windows desktop under an admin account.
2. Go to C:\Program Files\SCIEX\SCIEX OS.
3. Open SciexOs.exe.config with Notepad. 
4. Find  <add key="AlwaysUsePDFFactoryOnly" value="true"/>. Replace "true" with "false".
5. Click Save.

Now when the reports are created in the pdf format, they will be unsecured.
