How can you edit a query file extension?

Answer

When a .query file is saved as a different name, the .xls extension is added to it. To remove .xls extension, simply right click on the name of the file. Select rename and delete .xls extension. Click out of the name to update the changes. 

Similarly, if a file has .xls extension instead of .query, rename it to .query in the same way as mentioned above.
