A patch for ProteinPilot™ software called "ProteinPilot 5.0.2 Patch for UniProt Issue (Rev. 2)" addresses this issue where users are unable to retrieve UniProt annotations. In addition, it also addresses the issue where users are unable to export the Protein Summary and FDR export.

The patch updates the progroup.exe, ABSciex.ProteinObjects.dll, ABSciex.ProteinObjects_x64.dll file in the C:\Program Files\AB SCIEX\ProteinPilot folder.
