Polarity Switching Is Not Supported in Analyst® Software Versions below 1.6｜質量分析計・LC-MS/MSシステムのSCIEX

Issue Description

When running a sMRM method with positive and negative modes in Analyst® software 1.5.1, data acquistion stops, the batch stalls, or Analyst crashes as soon as the sMRM method starts. Running the same method and deselecting the sMRM checkbox allows for data to be acquired successfully.

Resolution

To use polarity switching in an sMRM method, Analyst software 1.6 or higher must be installed.

According to the Analyst 1.6.3 release notes (p 25), polarity switching is only supported in Analyst 1.6 and greater, but not in lower versions, such as Analyst 1.5.2.
