Answer

There is a character limit for the Analyst® software password required to access the software in mixed mode.  On Windows 10, passwords are limited to 13 characters.

If Analyst software is set to the Mixed Mode security configuration, then the Unlock feature is set to a maximum of 13 characters. If password is longer that 13 characters, then you will not be able to unlock the software. 

The workaround is to reset the password through Windows ensuring the 13 character limit is honored.
