Analyst® 1.6.3 software was installed first on a PC with a Windows 10 operating system. Then Analyst 1.7 software was downloaded and installed. When the software was launched, the following error message was received:
"Upgrading to the Analyst 1.7 Software with HotFix 1 from any previous version of the Analyst Software is not supported on the Windows 10 operating system. The upgrade path is only supported on Windows 7 operating systems. Setup will now exit."
Analyst 1.7 with Hotfix 1 must be installed without any previous version of Analyst software installed concurrently. To resolve this issue, uninstall any older versions of Analyst software (and Analyst 1.7), and then reinstall Analyst 1.7 separately. Windows 10 does not permit older versions of Analyst software to be detected.
