The overall objective of this eLearning module is to describe how to use the SelexION device during quantitative analysis of lipids. The use of SelexION Technology (differential ion mobility spectrometry, or DMS) in the study of lipidomics greatly improves the quantitative analysis of lipids by lowering the chromatographic baseline (i.e., noise) and minimizing isobaric interference. In this course, the steps needed to develop quantitative assays using DMS will be described on SCIEX Triple Quadrupole Instruments/QTRAP System.
