Objective

The QTRAP® Advanced Operator Training is intended for experienced users of the QTRAP® System for running small molecule applications.  QTRAP® Theory will be introduced, and attendees will learn QTRAP® System features to build methods for quantitative and qualitative analysis.  Information-Dependent Acquisition (IDA) method creation and quantitation will be emphasized.

Through lectures and practical exercises, at the end of the course participants will be able to understand:

  • SCIEX QTRAP® System technology, instrumentation, and Analyst® Software
  • Calibration of the instrument
  • QTRAP® System scan types and experiments
  • Information-Dependent Acquisition (IDA) method setup
  • Set-up of library and library search
  • Acquired data analyis using Analyst® Software and the Explore mode
  • Quantitative data analysis
  • Report creation from the result table
