For research use only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Answer

To import updated quantitation information into the batch, export the batch file as a text file from Analyst® software and edit the information in Excel. With the Batch open in Analyst, select Export from the File menu, and then add a file name to the Save As screen. Save the exported file as a .txt file. All of the quantitation columns will then export with the Sample tab information. Reopen the .txt file in Excel. Analyte concentrations for the standard and QC samples can be added to the Excel file. Save the Excel file as the template in the .txt format. Right click in the Batch and select Import From and File and then select the .txt file with the updated concentration information.

For large batches with a variable number of samples, create a .txt file with the maximum number of samples and then remove the unused rows before saving the .txt template under another name for import back into Analyst software.
