If a report template is emailed or transferred to another computer and then opened, the xml tags may not be visible because they were blocked for security reasons. To unblock, right click over the file name of the report template prior to opening it in Microsoft Word and select Properties in the list of options that appears. Then select the box next to Unblock on the General tab. Then select Apply and OK (see screenshot below). Now, the xml tags will show in the report template when its opened in Word.
