Issue Description

When Analyst® or SCIEX OS software is launched under the local admin account, an error message is received: “The current user is not added to the security database.”


Resolution

The software was originally installed under a non-admin account. To add the new end-user to the security database, the person that originally installed the software should log into the PC to access the software. Analyst or SCIEX OS software can also be re-installed under the local admin account and then the new end-user can be added this way. All SCIEX software should be installed under a local admin account on the PC to function properly.
