Data Not Visible for New Results Table Processing in SCIEX OS Software

Issue Description

To create a new results table in SCIEX OS software, users must browse to data sets from the Analytics mode through the Results menu. When New and then Browse are selected to start a new results table, no data set is seen when the data folder is selected in the Select Folder menu. It appears as if the raw .wiff files are missing in this view, despite being in the folder itself when browsing through Windows file explorer.

In the images below, the user is browsing to the .wiff files in the Triple Quad subfolder in the Analyst Data project, Example. When the user is browsing to the Triple Quad subfolder, no .wiff files appear and "No items match your search" is seen (bottom image).




 

Resolution

In the Select Folder browsing window, it is only the data folder that is being selected, not the file itself. Once the data folder is highlighted and Select Folder is clicked, the files will appear in the Process New Results window. At this point, the data files can be moved to the right to be processed.
